Connecting an AI to the system that holds your clients takes more than working. These are the official connector's rules — always on, nothing to configure:
Your account login, no tokens
Authorization happens on Gendo's own login screen (subdomain, email and password), over OAuth. There is no API key to copy, paste or leak — and only the Administrator profile can connect.
Personal data always masked
Your clients' emails, phone numbers and documents never reach the AI in full. It is connector policy, not a setting: not even the person connecting can turn it off.
Destructive actions require confirmation
Deleting an appointment or a record requires you to confirm in the conversation before it happens. The AI proposes; you decide.

Plugins require a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business or Team).
- 1In ChatGPT's Settings, open Plugins and, under advanced settings, enable Developer mode — one time only.
- 2Back in Plugins, tap Create and fill in: name Gendo, MCP server URL https://mcp.gendo.app/mcp, authentication OAuth. Check "I trust this app" and create.
- 3On the Gendo login screen that opens, enter your subdomain, email and password and authorize access.
- 4In a conversation, tap + (or the tools icon), enable Gendo and test it: "list my appointments for today".
Claude (claude.ai)
- 1Under Settings → Connectors, tap Add custom connector.
- 2Paste the URL https://mcp.gendo.app/mcp and add it.
- 3Tap Connect, sign in with your Gendo credentials (subdomain, email and password) and authorize access.
- 4In the conversation, enable Gendo from the tools menu.

Frequently asked questions
Do I pay anything extra to use it?
No. The connector is included from the Advanced plan up, at no extra cost. Any cost sits on the other side: in ChatGPT, plugins require a paid OpenAI plan (Plus, Pro, Business or Team).
Is it safe to give an AI access to my account?
The connector was designed for exactly that: you never create or copy a key — access is born from your own account login, over OAuth, and only the Administrator profile can connect. Your clients' personal data (email, phone, documents) always reaches the AI masked, destructive actions require your confirmation in the conversation, and to revoke everything you just change your account password.
What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol: an open standard, created by Anthropic (the company behind Claude) and adopted by OpenAI as well, that defines how an AI connects safely to a system. It is what lets ChatGPT and Claude read and operate your Gendo — always with your authorization.
How is the connector different from GAIA?
GAIA is Gendo's analytical intelligence — and it also answers through the connector: analysis questions asked in ChatGPT or Claude are answered by it. The connector adds the operation: creating and moving appointments, registering clients, selling packages. It is the whole system by conversation, not just reading the numbers.
Can my clients use this to book?
No — the connector belongs to you and your management, behind the Administrator login. Serving end clients and booking over WhatsApp is Gendo Zap, a product built for that.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Once connected, Gendo is available in your ChatGPT and Claude conversations on any device — app or browser. The initial setup is more comfortable on a computer.
